The 33rd Annual Maynard Pioneer Days will be held Thursday, September 12 – Saturday, September 14.

Thursday Events

  • 4:30pm – Pet parade sign in
  • 5:00pm – Pet Parade and Pioneer Prince & Princess Winners announced
  • 5:00pm – School Night Begins

Friday Events

  • 9:00am – Craft Fair Opens
  • 5:00pm – Chicken N’ Dumplin or Hamburer Plate, Baked Goods Contest & Auction, Door Prizes
  • Live Gospel Music with The Peppers

Saturday Events (starting at 10am)

  • Parade Starts ending at park
  • Parade Winners Announced
  • Tours of Pioneer cabin, Museum, & Church
  • Demonstrations of Pioneer Life throughout the day behind the Museume (by Northeast Arkansas Living Historians)
  • Live Music with Billy Wayne’s Country Ledgends

2nd Annual Reyno Spring Festival

The 2nd Annual Reyno Spring Festival will be held June 1st from 9am to 1pm at the City Park and former Elementary school on historic Rock N’ Roll Highway 67.

Activities Include:

  • Over 40 vendors
  • Antique car-show
  • Tractor show
  • Pet Show
  • Free Finger printing by the Randolph County Sheriff Department
  • Air Vac will be showing the helicopter
  • Music by The Empty Pockets Band
  • Much More!

2013 Annual Tourism Banquet

The Randolph County Tourism Association’s 2013 Annual Banquet will be held tonight, May 16th, 6:30pm at the Randolph County Development Center, Black River Technical College.

Scott Sudduth will be the guest speaker tonight.

Sudduth has been in the hospitality industry for 30 years, this includes hotel, food and beverage, and convention management. He worked for major hotel chains such as Holiday Inn Corp, Hilton, Adams Mark, and Mahogany Run St. Thomas U.S.V.I. He had the position as Director of Marketing for Quality Foods Inc a foodservice distributor in Arkansas, for the past 17 years.

He is a member of the Arkansas Hospitality Association, and currently holds a CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) designation from the Convention Industry Council. He was named by Convention South Magazine as “Meeting Professional to watch” in 2005.

He was also inducted into the Arkansas Hospitality Association “Hall of Fame” in 2005.

He and his family reside in Little Rock. Scott is very excited about being involved with the “Welcome to Arkansas” campaign.
