A Dutch Oven Thanksgiving Feast will be held on November 12th from 11-1. We will be making a Thanksgiving meal and learning how to use and care for Dutch ovens. Since space is limited early registration is required. Call the park to register by November 5th. The cost for this event is $15 and all levels of skill are welcome!
Fireside will be held on Friday, November 4th from 2-4. Please bundle up and join us for the afternoon around the fire while learning from the park interpreter. We will discuss how people used to stay warm in older days and how we stay warm now. This event is free and everyone is welcome. S’mores and hot chocolate will be available as well so come out and enjoy the afternoon with us!
September 17th, 2016 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost: $5.00 per team. Technology and a sharp mind will serve you well on Davidsonville’s fun and challenging Geocaching course. Find waypoint, solve riddles, and you might just find a treasure at the end of the hunt. Bring a GPS, good walking shoes, and your sense of adventure. Sign up solo or in teams of up to three and discover parts of the park that most visitors never see. Early registration is required, call the park to sign up. Visit the Visitor Center to sign in and begin the hunt.
